I feel like I at least need to post something, yet I can't think of anything. So why not just write about what I am currently having trouble with! Writer's block!!
We all get it. That annoying thing where you know you want to write something, you just can't think of what. Like me right now. I can't even think of what to write on writers block.
According to the "amazingly accurate" Wikipedia, writers block is "is a condition, primarily associated with writing as a profession, in which an author loses the ability to produce new work. The condition varies widely in intensity. It can be trivial, a temporary difficulty in dealing with the task at hand. At the other extreme, some "blocked" writers have been unable to work for years on end, and some have even abandoned their careers. It can manifest as the affected writer viewing their work as inferior or unsuitable, when in fact it could be the opposite."
Ok now that we got that out of the way...
I hope I never become the author that can't write for years. Oh the horror!!!!
Is there any sure for this horrible condition? According to some websites, there is! So let's try some of these out and see what the outcome is.
1. Explore New Topics
This is for if you can't find a new topic in a limited subject. First problem with this "cure," if you are writing on a broad subject (i.e. me) then how can I explore something new? I can't even think of a new topic!!
2. Eat a snack
I can do this :) But what to eat? hmmm.....
3. Flirt
Yes a website actually suggests doing this. One problem. If I am at home at the computer and, say only my dad is home, how will this help me?
4. Remember, we die
Uh.... ok....

5. Change of Scenery
I can do this! And guess what, it's working!!!
Well, I am off for the day!! I will update this post later but wanted to at least get it up now!! Hope you enjoyed it.
